Job Description

We are an ESSENTIAL, local, full-service construction industry company is seeking an experienced HR/ Payroll Administrator for our growing team (currently 25 employees). 

This position is responsible for the daily Human resources and payroll operations while applying knowledge of California employment law, prevailing wage and certified payroll, practices and procedures, as well as Safety compliance.  Working under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer, this Payroll Specialist is responsible for providing the additional duties:

Responsibilities: ·
  • Enter daily timecards and process payroll through ADP third party online portal
  • Onboarding and Termination preparation, maintain employee files
  • Reporting for payroll, EDD, and Workers Compensation
  • Benefits Management (Sick/Vacation/Covid/Medical/Dental/Aflac)
  • Safety Administration and compliance management 
  • Employee Handbook administration

  • Stable work-history
  • Local with reliable references
  • Attention to detail; highly functional accounting in excel and calculations
  • High level of Integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality of all records and personal employee information
  • Great people skills with a Champion attitude
  • Must have Strong accuracy and consistency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
